Hi! I'm Paul, the Owner of SOCATOTS & Brazilian Soccer Schools Beds & Bucks and also ‘Head Coach’ for SOCATOTS UK. I have been a Franchisee since 2011 and have grown the programme from starting in Milton Keynes to now operating in four areas, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford and Aylesbury, with the ambition and drive to grow even further!
Through absolute chance, when I was 16 a space became available on an FA Level 1 coaching course the day before it was due to start. I was asked by a friend to attend and I saw it as a way to play more football. I never thought about becoming a coach before this. But then, once I saw what coaching was like and started to deliver some content, I fell in love with it, and haven’t looked back since.
I enjoy seeing the improvement made by each individual at the sessions. When they achieve even the smallest thing, it brings a smile to their face and their parents' too. A big reason I got into this programme was the fact we were getting children to understand some structure: sitting, listening and watching, then taking on board information, then undertaking the task with the guidance and support of their parents, which creates a great dynamic in the sessions. We offer a great fun-filled atmosphere at all classes! The programme offers educational and developmental benefits and nurtures amazing football potential as well.
