How your child will benefit from our classes for 2 year olds
No matter whether your child has dreams of being the next Mo Salah or Mary Earps, our football classes for 2 years olds will benefit your child by helping them:
Develop their motor skills – balance, coordination and movement
Develop their cognitive skills – numeracy speech and pattern recognition
Develop social skills – teamwork, communication and confidence
With our help and your involvement and support, your child may go on to become a star footballer but what we can guarantee is that they will have a healthy, happy childhood.
So Much More Than Football
We are using football as the medium but Socatots and our football classes for 2 years olds are about so much more than football.
Your children will learn vital life skills that they can take into school such as sitting, listening, speech recognition, numeracy and social skills. On the physical side of things, they will be learning coordination, balance and teamwork.
And they will achieve all this via classes that are designed for their specific age group.
Classes designed with experts for each age group
All of our classes are filled with child appropriate activities that have been carefully designed for each age group.
Within our football classes for 2 years olds, each class is 40 minutes long and we focus on continuing to develop their key skills. At this age, they will be walking, talking and, if they have been with us since they were 6 months old, will have built up solid foundation skills. They will continue this development by working on their coordination, balance and learning to move with greater speed and ease.
Along with designing our classes to be filled with age appropriate activities, we also cater to each child’s specific needs. We take into account every child’s needs, helping them overcome any areas that they are finding more challenging and to celebrate every one of their successes.
Top of the class, star of their team
We have had many happy parents tell us that, through the help of our classes, their children are ahead of the pack within their PE lessons and that they are the MVP of their football teams.
This is because their children have been enrolled within our classes from a young age, developing important physical skills and mastering football skills, all alongside growing their confidence, social skills and ability to play a vital role within a team. This is setting them up for success in school and further on into adult life.
Expert Coaching For Every Child
Your child will receive expert coaching from all of our coaches. Each of our coaches is:
- DBS qualified
- UKCFDS qualified
- First-aid trained
- Fully insured
This means that your child will be learning from professionals who are trained in child development. Your child will always be in safe hands.
You will play an active role in your child’s success
With our classes for 2 years olds, you will play an active role in your child’s development and all the success they have whilst training and learning with us.
This is important because your involvement helps to increase your child’s confidence and self-esteem, whilst strengthening the emotional bond that you share.
Increasing confidence and self-esteem will help them during the big steps that they will be taking as the years pass – heading off to school, meeting lots of new people and forming friendships that may last a lifetime. If they choose to continue on with their football, with the goal of making it their career, confidence mixed with the other skills they develop with us will set them up for success.

“Once children are walking, they can begin to develop their physical skills further in the areas of coordination, balance and agility. Using the basic skills of ball control acquired during the early sessions with Socatots, toddlers begin to progress rapidly, applying the balance they have already developed to control the ball in the air in new ways.”
