Your coach is Luke McCarthy

Hi! I’m Luke, a coach at Brazilian Soccer Schools and Socatots. I have been coaching for 5 years and have enjoyed every minute. I started coaching in Year 10 at Brazilian Soccer Schools and Socatots for work experience. I knew about the company as my little brother attended BSS sessions. I thought I’d give coaching a go as I love football. The 2 weeks of work experience were thoroughly enjoyable and I learnt a lot, which pushed me to want to coach full time in the future.

Being able to run a session myself and seeing the enjoyment the children get out of it is so rewarding. All the children at the sessions want to be there to be challenged and have fun, which makes the environment an enjoyable place to be.

We offer an enjoyable, fun and welcoming class as well as many skills that the children can take onto school, teams and further on in life.

I have 5 years of coaching experience so far and each session I run I learn something new that I can take into future sessions, hopefully bettering me as a football coach.
